Heat Bed is not going or down
by Amanda

The heat bed is not moving up or down,
how to fix it?

My 3d printer is Airwolf hd

Here is what happen, I plugged in the USB to my surface computer and went in to Matter Control Software
Turn on the airwolf 3d HD printer and see it connect to my surface
Then I prepare the ABS temp
Waiting to warm up and then I did my own design
And Print what I wanted to designed.
I accidently

Turn the Z up and on the glass of the bed had PET tape on it.
The nozzle peeled off the PET and try to print the design that I did.
I freak out and went to stop the printer and
Look at the glass to make sure I didn't break the glass and flip the glass to other side and try it again
And I went in to Prepare the ABS for heating the Printer decide went to Sleep
So the Z bed went down the the end.

And the Z bed is not going up or down at all.

I reset the printer and unplug it and plug it again.
And I try to do the first print, but the x, y and nozzle is working but the bed going up or down is not working at all.

@Amanda
So, after looking into this, it sounds like a security precaution in Marlin firmware that requires you to home all of the axes before you can move the Z up and down. Try giving that a shot, and let me know how it works for you.
