Can Ultimaker 3d printers, especially the 2+ and 3 extended, be used as a precision motion control system ? The application would require resting an electronic balance on the build platform. Horizontal and vertical travel would be used to dip springs into a solution, then press them against the electronic balance to evaluate a force-displacement curve. Displacement is in steps of 0.06 mm. -Purvis
