Questions
Can you stain the wood?
I forgot to ask......What about layer height? A lot of wood filaments require 0.2 mm layer height. Can I go lower?
What size nozzle is best for this filament? I have 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm nozzles available.
Where is the wood sourced from?
Do i need a strengthened nozzle for this?
Will I need a hardened steel nozzle to print this?
Does this change color with temperature?
Is this filament compatible with the MakerBot: Replicator 2?
Can this be used with the micro 3d (m3d) printer?
what is the density of this material?
Can the wood fibers fall off and go into your skin when you touch it like XT-CF20? I do not see it anywhere in the data sheet of both filaments, im scared of filled filaments going into my skin when I touch it.
@Hunterxu26 Often times it depends on the geometry of the part, but in general the wood should feel fairly smooth once printed.
