Level up your 3D printing with dissolvable support material

The glory of 3D printing is that you can design highly complex models and bring them to life - but this sometimes involves having to print overhangs or internal cavities that require support material to print properly. Dual extrusion machines excel in this area as they can print the part with one material and then print support material with a second nozzle. Scaffold is especially brilliant because it dissolves in tap water - after your part is finished printing, submerge it in water for a few hours and the support material washes away, leaving only the desired part.

Scaffold support material allows for printing highly complex models

Technical Specifications

  • Printing Temperature: 215°C
  • Bed Temperature: 20-55°C
  • Print Speed: ~50mm/s

After your part has finished printing, submerge it in water to dissolve the supports.

Scaffold needs to be kept dry, using an oven to dry the filament is ideal and storage in a resealable bag is highly recommended.
