What are the specifics of each license activation type?
Computer-Locked (previously referred to as "Online Activation")
- This is the standard license type and it is tied to an activation code made up of 16 or 20 characters. Each license will have a limited number of seats, which determines how many computers can be activated simultaneously. Each activated computer is tied to the unique key that is generated for each computer. Users can deactivate and move licenses as many times as they want. By default, the internet connection will be used to activate/deactivate a computer. Once the computer is activated it will no longer require an internet connection to operate. If the computer has limited or no access to the internet then a secondary online computer can be used to generate a license file through the portal, which can be manually transferred to the offline computer.
- This activation type is denoted by the acronym "ONA" in Geomagic's licensing system.
Dongle-Locked (previously referred to as "Offline Dongle")
- This license uses a physical encrypted USB hardware key that is connected to the computer being licensed. The serial number of this dongle replaces the NodeID that would normally be generated using the internet. The first time a computer is used a license file will need to be deployed. By default this license file is generated and deployed using an internet connection to the CimLM servers. If the computer has limited or no access to the internet then a secondary online computer can be used to generate a license file through the portal, which can be manually transferred to the offline computer. Once the license is deployed the dongle will work as 'plug and play'. This process can be repeated on any number of computers or the first license file can be copied to the other PCs. When a new major version of the software is released this same process will be used to update the license.
- This activation type is denoted by the acronym "OFD" in Geomagic's licensing system.
Network-Locked
- Computer (previously referred to as "Network Activation")
- This is the standard enterprise solution for customers who want to serve licenses to many client computer. A server computer is used to host any number of licenses, which can be used by any computer on that network. As soon as a client is finished using the software, that seat is returned to the server and becomes available for a different PC. This allows for easy license sharing without manual deactivation/activation. The process for activating the server is the same as activating a Computer-Locked license on a client computer. If the server is offline then a secondary online computer will be needed to generate a license file through the portal for the initial activation.
- This activation type is denoted by the acronym "NWA" in Geomagic's licensing system.
- Dongle (previously referred to as "Network Dongle")
- This option combines the flexibility of the network activation with the ability to easily move the licenses between severs. The process of activating the server is the same as the Dongle-Locked activation. If the server is offline then a secondary online computer will be needed to generate a license file through the portal for the initial activation.
- This activation type is denoted by the acronym "NWD" in Geomagic's licensing system.

Questions
The width of the spool is quite narrow compared to the Bambu spools which leaves little of the rim beyond the coiled filament. This causes feeding problems on the AMS. Is there any chance that the spools will eb changed to work better with the AMS or could this be offered on cardboard refills compatible with Bambu spools in the future?
Is this a Nylon 6, 6/6, 12, or 12/12, or something else based nylon?
Do you have any drying instructions for this filament?

Is Red PRO Series Nylon Filament - 1.75mm Acetone resistant?
We ordered a spool of white nylon PRO series in June 2023 and it definitely has a warmer yellow tone to it than the spool pictured. Has there been a change to the white color and is it now cooler toned, more like white PETG or white PLA that have more blue overtones? We are looking for a cooler white color, if that's even possible with nylon.
How does the MatterHackers PRO nylon compare to Taulman 910?
Anyone succeeded printing a part larger than 6" on glass with this filament without significant warping? I have tried bed temps of 60 up to 80, no fan, with a fresh PVA glue layer, and the warp is very bad in all cases.
It is prone to warping. I am able to get it to stick to the build tak, but it lifts the steel plate from the magnets. I had to clip it to the bed frame.67 c on bed temp. Trying 75c on bed temp. Would it help to lower bed temp after X amount of layers?
Can you tell me what specific kind of nylon this is? PA11? PA12? Something else? Thanks.
