PEEK 3D Printing With Intamsys FunMat HT 3D Printer

The Funmat comes with an advanced thermal system design which includes a 90°C constant temperature chamber, 160°C heated build plate, and 450°C high-temperature extruder with all-metal hotend, making it specially designed to print PEEK and many other high-performance functional materials. The high temperature nozzle allows for the user to print with a wide range of temperatures with the provided and swappable hot ends. Print with both low temperature material like ABS, Nylon and PLA and high temperature materials like PEEK, PEI and PPSU among others. Everything is possible with an open material system with an upper temperature limit of 450°C. It's been used in every application imaginable in the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Engineering, Research and Oil/Gas industries.

High Performance Functionality

While the FUNMAT HT is great for creating awesome prints with standard materials like PLA, the true beauty of the INTAMSYS is that it allows for the perfect controlled environment essential for printing with high temperature materials like PEEK. When printing with PEEK, a closed environment is necessary as the prints are more susceptible to degradation by fluctuations in moisture and temperature in the atmosphere. This fully enclosed printer takes the hassle out of buying an enclosure which together with the heated bed (ideal for curing PEEK, PEI, and PC) and the dual heater cores keep the ambient conditions consistent. Not many printers have such a well heated chamber, making it the ideal printer for industrial use due to its high performance functionality.

Apart from the awesome features that improve print performance, the INTAMSYS improves the other issues and inconveniences that arise from 3D printing. No longer will you have to purchase a separate container to keep your filament dry as the printer has a built-in side chamber that will do so. Another cool feature is that the Funmat doesn't limit you in the filament type you can use. The two interchangeable hot ends provided with the printer let you print with a wider variety of filament that responds better with higher temperature (over 300C°) or standard filaments (up to 300C°).
