MATTERHACKERS Lime Green Soft PLA - 1.75mm (0.75kg)
0.75kg of lime green colored Soft PLA.
Soft PLA is a very flexible 3D printing material that feels and acts much like rubber. Great for creating parts that can bend or must flex to fit their environment - stoppers, belts, springs, phone cases, tires, machine parts, kids toys, and more.
Soft PLA prints best around 225°C and should be printed at a slower speed than regular PLA.

0.75KG of 1.75mm lime green colored Soft PLA. This extremely flexible PLA will allow you to create prints that will have the properties of a durable rubber, which means that it is remarkably resilient and elastic.
Sticks great to a bed that is layered with blue painter’s tape. We also recommend that you print it at a slower speed than normal PLA. Take note that you need to print soft PLA significantly hotter (220°C-235°C) than traditional PLA. If you are new to 3D printing we recommend you start off with regular PLA since Soft PLA can be more difficult to work with.
Check out the video below to see an exclusive comparison of Soft PLA VS traditional PLA.
As you can see from the video Soft PLA is very flexible and also makes great rubber like products like tires, machine parts or kids toys. The possibilities are pretty much endless! Why try Soft PLA instead of regular PLA? Because regular PLA is very stiff and does not bend well. Conversely, Soft PLA is extremely flexible which makes it impact resistant and suitable for a host of other industrial and household applications.
Remember that our Soft PLA is a flexible and eco friendly product. Soft PLA is a bioplastic which is a fancy way to say that it's made of renewable resources like corn and tapioca. It's also biodegradable and is much more environmentally friendly than ABS which is made of petrochemicals. That means you can feel like an environmental hero while printing your flexible new gizmos and gadgets! But seriously, when 3D printing turns into the next industrial revolution printing with bioplastics like PLA and Soft PLA will become ever more important. That way we can avoid loading up landfills. Additionally this Soft PLA has a 50% lower carbon footprint than traditional 3D printing materials.

Our soft PLA is compatible with nearly all 3D printers, including RepRap derivatives and those from MakerBot (such as the Replicator and Replicator 2), Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines, and most others. Recommended Extrusion Temperatures: 220°C-235°C
Spool Dimensions (Aprox.): 200mm Total Diameter x 50mm Inner Hole Diameter x 60mm Height
If you have any trouble printing with Soft PLA try lowering your print speed and adjusting the print temperature to find the ideal mix for your machine.
Ninjaflex VS TPE VS Soft PLA
All 3 filaments are excellent choices but have different levels of hardness and flexibility. Ninjaflex is the softest with a shore hardness of 85A. TPE is slightly firmer but still very soft with a shore hardness of 90A. Soft PLA is the firmest of the three with a shore hardness of 92A. If your printer has a bowden tube Soft PLA is the best choice for you.
