Questions
I just ordered this printer and am new to the 3d printing world. Does this come with a software and if not what is the best software to use in conjunction with this printer?
Does the machine come with some filament?
Do you have the pic of the completed connections on the Meanwell power supply? I hadto disconnect all of the connections, now the power does not come on. I have doubled checked that there is proper AC voltage getting through the plug. The case fan does not come "ON". and I get an "Voltage Error" when I connect the printer up to my Klipper on a RaspPi (that was working before). If I can get a pic of the connections or even a power distribution diagram for all of the connections, that would be perfect. Respectfully, S. Gailes
Am thinking about moving up to a Creality 5 Plus because of larger print size. You mention 0.4mm nozzles as standard and 0.2 and 0.3mm nozzles as options. I would like 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzles as options for faster builds and allegedly more strength. Is this an option? I also have a pair of 0.4mm Diamondback nozzles. Are they an easy fit?
Is there a warranty on this? Does it have the same 1 year warranty that creality and comgrow offer?
Does it have the silent motherboard?
What is the purpose of the rubber piece that goes on the hot end? Mine has become damaged after filament backup filled it up and hardened.
I need a quote on for a Purchasing Order for the Ender 5 Plus, as well as the Item Number, so we can find it, and a FAX number to contact you with. I am in SAU24, looking to add 3D printing to my curriculum and would like to use matterhackers to purchase my supplies.
What is the startup watt rating and watt per hour operating specs to calculate solar needs for mobile printing. My AC unit that is 13,500 btus has 2800w startup and 1600 watt per hr specs for example. Thanks!!
Just a heads up on this printer, I bought 2 back in Dec for gifts, just got to setting up the second one in May and found that the extruder arm that tensions the filament to the gear was broken. This is a known issue with this extruder, so plan on just upgrading it to a metal one at time of purchase. Happy Printing!
Hi - We are very interested in buying an Ender 5+ for a project. What changes/upgrades do you recommend for printing ASA filament? Please let us know
is this an 80% pre assembled kit or completely non assembled?
does it come with the plain glass bed , black textured glass bed or the sticker sheet type bed?
What sort of accuracy and tolerances should I expect to be able to achieve with this printer? What is the positioning accuracy over its full travel? Expected repeatability? Extruded / Printed parts would typically deviate from the programmed dimensions by how much? How round could I expect a 50mm circle circle to be?
Do you have a titanium hot end available for the enser 5 plus?
Anyone know what the weight limit is on a print on this ? I want to make sure if i print something 2 lbs or so it will hold no issues
What varieties of materials can print through this machine? Thanks in advance!
do you have a profile for a ender 5 plus for matter control
Ready to pull the trigger on a purchase, is the V2.2 board included?
Just assembled Ender 5 plus and the filament will not pass through run out sensor when trying to load it. It will move through in the opposite direction. How do I trouble shoot?
Do these versions come with the better power supply than the original units?
does this come with an all metal hot end? or would it have to be upgraded to one like the rest of the creality printers
I would like to upgrade my Creality Ender 5 Plus factory Hotend. What are my best options for an all-metal setup? I was thinking of the E3D v6 Hotend if it is available? Thank you for your time
The most direct and easiest upgrade would be the MicroSwiss All Metal Hotend upgrade we offer here: https://www.matterhackers.com/store/l/micro-swiss-direct-drive-extruder-for-creality-ender-5/sk/M3LCYRZ8
