Peopoly Peopoly Phenom Large-Format MSLA 3D Printer
Peopoly's latest resin-based 3D printer is an amazing new addition to the Peopoly lineup. In contrast to their previous printers, the Phenom uses MSLA technology - a combination of LCD and LED - that enables more uniform UV light and a higher quality print, all more quickly and efficiently than any previous resin-based 3D printer. With a build volume of 276mm x 155mm x 400mm, 4K high-resolution projection, and an advanced resin vat system that minimizes peel force, the Phenom is truly the wunderkind of the resin printing world.

MSLA Prints Large Batches Faster
Phenom uses the MSLA technology, which is new to resin printing. Instead of controlling a laser to cure resin in a specific point (not unlike FFF printing), the entire layer flashes at once, then moves to the next layer. By selectively exposing the entire layer to UV light, MSLA technology significantly cuts down on curing time, when batch printing, or for large 3D prints. Further, the Phenom customized light engine produces even more UV light, resulting in bench marks of up to 500% faster than similar printers. Check out the tech breakdown article here.
Modular Design Future-Proofs The Phenom
Peopoly has long focused on designing 3D printers with modular construction in mind, ensuring that when exciting new upgrades or mods come along, users that need the latest configuration have no trouble at all in kitting their printer exactly how they like it. Phenom is no different, with focus put into the design and construction for easy expansion and improvements. New cooling systems, lighting setups, or masking systems not yet imagined can all become a part of this 3D printer. The future is always now.
The Best Resin for the Phenom
Peopoly designed the Phenom from the ground up, so the chicken and egg problem was completely avoided by developing a new resin at the same time, and with the same design goals in mind. Peopoly and MatterHackers highly recommends you use Deft Resin with your Phenom for the best quality results.

Hello. The Deft resin has been out of stock for a while. Is there another resin compatible with the Phenom that I can use while I wait for the Deft to get restocked?
Would this machine be used to print plastic injection molds? or bottle blow molds? What kind of resin could I use for this purpose? What types of resin can be used in this 3D printer? Do you know if there is any resin that can come into contact with food?

1. Poeple seems just to use these SLA machines for models and toys according to all photos. Could this Phenom be good for making boxes for electronics?) Think an indoor modem box or similar consisting of one top and one bottom.) 2. If I make an open box, producing it upside down: The front panel will stick to the plate. Will the front panel get a nice finish without air bubbles or marks from removing it? 3. Are resins available which are tough enough for this type of box? Think 2-3 mm wall thickness. Or will it be too brittle and break if dropped from 20-40 cm on a desk? Thank you for any information.

Will the Covid-19 virus have delays on the pre-orders and shipping times if I were to order this printer today? Phenom's website says they are delayed due to quarantine of the factory.
Two questions: 1) What is the expected lifespan of the LCD screen (i.e.is it UV rated)? Most DSLA printers use standard 4K high def screens and the UV light destroys them is a short amount of time. Is the LCD screen considered a consumable? 2) What is the availability of the screens and the price for a replacement?
The screen is available on Peopoly website right now, it is $99.99 excluding shipping and customs.
The expected lifespan of the LCD screen is roughly 400 hrs and is a consumable. We currently do not have pricing yet, but we are working with the vendor and will be carrying replacement screens in the near future.
