What does Taulman BluPrint bring to the table? This specialty filament gives designers the ability to 3D print objects able to withstand high temperatures in the outdoors. BluPrint has a Tg (glass transition temp) of 110C! This is nearly double the Tg of PLA. That means you can leave it in a hot car, or even outside in direct sunlight and it won't warp or deform from the heat.
Just like the rest of the Taulman materials, BluPrint is a 100 percent bonding layer to layer polymer when printed at fixed, proper temperatures.
BluPrint transmits 84% of visible light which makes it one of the clearest filaments available. And, unlike some other clear filaments, BluPrint, when printed with the E3D Volcano hotends, can print at speeds of 44m/s with a 1mm nozzle and .46mm layer while still maintaining clarity and precision. As the size of the layers and nozzles decrease, speeds increase to 120mm/s with a .4mm nozzle.
If you have been looking for a filament that is strong, prints fast, and is fearless of the heat, BluPrint is the filament you have been waiting for!
