Questions
Can you sand and stain this filament?
I'm having a tough time getting any usable prints from this filament. I have a MK2S Prusa and keep getting clogging, super heavy stringing issues, and lots of failed prints despite my adjustments. If I go below 200 degrees it balls up on the bed. Retraction was originally set to .8 and it left stringing so thick it broke the test part trying to remove them. Are there any setting you can recommend to help this? I have tried retraction plus and minus, heat plus and minus, speed plus not minus. Everything has failed so far? I'm slicing using Slic3r. Thanks in advance.
My 3d printer doesn't say it can print wood. If it can get hot enough, can i use this a filament it doesnt say is approved?
Would the wood filament cause any wear or any other damages, on the nozzle. If printin in larger scale?
I am going to be printing miniature houses for a 405-C3 charity and want to use wood infused PLA filament. I will be using a Palette 2pro to give me the ability to print in a variety of "wood tones" . My question is do you have a list of the various wood tones (types such as Cherry, Fir, Mahogany etc), so that when I order filaments from you I won't have to search the several suppliers that you feature in your product line. Besides the wood tones, I'll also be using regular PLA colors for specific house parts that typically are not wood tones, such as roofing materials. Most of the houses will feature the various woods for siding, window framework and mullions and wall corner treatments. Thank you for your assistance in this request for information, and I will be looking forward to your reply. Respectfully Submitted, Clay Soules
