The Best of the Best
The beauty of the tool head is that it adds to the compact design of the already revolutionary combined E3D Titan Aero Hotend and Extruder. It’s easy to see why LulzBot chose to make a tool head that included the much loved Titan Aero Hot End and Extruder from E3D. Apart from these two combined accessories, the tool head itself is easy and quick to mount. The lightweight build of the component as a whole allows for faster prints that, because of the Hotend and Extruder are of more consistently high quality.
It's All in the Detail
The cooling technology incorporates a centrifugal fan and 360-degree part cooling duct which provides fine detail, bridging and overhang performance by cooling before the print has time to sag between points. Before this technology, the tool heads had cooling only on one or two sides. What does this mean for you? More elaborate and detailed parts on your prints!
Flexibility is Key
If you are looking to print with both standard and flexible filaments, this is the tool head for you. This tool head does the work of two older designs by enabling prints with either rigid or flexible filament using the same tool head!

Questions
I am trying to find a tool head which has no brass, tin, or lead in it.
So, I buy a printer for $2500.00 and immediately have to buy a new tool head for $250.00 more?
Can you use a hardend Nozzle on this for abrasive filaments
So if I get the Aerostruder I will be able to print with Nylon X or not.
Looking at this hotend but will it print flexy? can I get it with a hardend Nozzle
Is there a design for the Taz which has a dual head, where 1 nozzle is the aeroflex and the other is the heritage all metal hex hot end. The hex permits both 1.75 and 3mm filaments and the aeroflex will permit multi different types of materials, including flexible.
If i upgrade the nozzle to a ruby nozzle will I be able to print nylonX?
I have a TAZ6, and was wondering if this is a plug n play solution? Do I need to do anything with the firmware or change anything in the slicer to recognize the toolhead change?
TAZ 5 Note: The Z support bar is lower with this attachment and causes 2 bolt heads to touch just before the Home position. Remove the bolt holding the electrical box on the back left frame. I noted this while leveling the bed with a micrometer. Prints had a shift in the second layer as the bolts stopped touching. Important design flaw in the Taz 5.
