As a Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of our front-line team, interacting daily with current and potential customers. Experience in 3D printers, solution-based sales, technology, or education/manufacturing is a plus. We value self-direction, teamwork, ambition, creativity, strong writing skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. What You Will Be Doing

  • Learning about the range of 3D printing and digital manufacturing products and solutions available via MatterHackers.
  • Greeting and assisting our Rogers, AR showroom customers (by appointment), giving short and informative facility tours, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, and following up for repeat business.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone and making recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Creating quotes for potential customers, managing the purchase order process, and accurately tracking completed transactions using HubSpot, HelpScout, and our own quoting system.
  • Assisting with local 3D print services, repairs, and trainings. 
  • Visiting local clients to learn more about their business and how we can help.
  • Collaborating virtually with other departments in Southern California to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Assisting and receiving training from a generous and supportive team of Account Managers and Sales Associates. You'll be mentored by an inspiring Senior Solutions Specialist and guided daily by a creative and fun Vice President of Strategic Partnerships who genuinely cares about the team, and writes her own job postings.

What You Need for this Position

  • Willingness and ability to work in-person (hybrid) in our exciting Rogers, AR office and makerspace
  • College Degree
  • Strong organization skills
  • Passion for helping businesses and educators
  • A desire to be part of an entrepreneurial team-oriented environment where flexibility and autonomy are required to thrive
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking (your cover letter is your best way to grab our attention!)
  • Experience with (or eager to learn) HubSpot, Google docs, Helpscout, and Gmail
